PS - you're welcome to stay anywhere in Cabo [happy to share recs if you'd like!], but The Corazon is where Gretchen and Josh are staying and where the pre/post wedding festivities will take place! Guests are encouraged to fly into SJD International Airport. There are flights daily from any major US airport. Once you arrive, you will be guided to the customs enforcement. You will then go to the baggage claim to pick up your checked bags. After a few minutes in line, you will be asked to press a button, at which point the light above will turn red or green. - If it is red, you will be required to send your bags through the x-ray machine before proceeding - If it is green, you are free to head outside of the airport. Shuttles: Shuttles from the airport can be booked through the hotel upon booking your room or you can book directly via companies like SJD Taxi, Cabo Airport Shuttle, or Transcabo. A private shuttle or taxi will cost around $80 for up to 5 people + bags. A shared shuttle will be around $25 per person. A 15-20% tip is customary. Pro tips: - DO NOT bring more than one laptop/tablet per person. The Mexican government has the right to charge you a fee of ~19% above the value of the device as an " import tax." - DO NOT stop and talk to anyone in "the gauntlet" before you get outside. They will do everything they can to convince you that they are with your hotel or that they have free activities for you. Say no at all costs! - It is not recommended to allow anyone to help you with your luggage. They will push you to take it as if it standard, then expect a tip 45 ft later.
