Another great outdoor getaway is Big Bear Lake! With cool forest trails, a seven-mile lake, an alpine golf course, endless tours, and a community brimming with activity, this Mountain Lake Escape is your summer alpine playground.
Palm Springs
Palm Springs is known for its hot springs, stylish hotels, golf courses and spas. It's also noted for its many fine examples of midcentury-modern architecture. Its core shopping district along Palm Canyon Drive features vintage boutiques, interior design shops and restaurants. The surrounding Coachella Valley offers hiking, biking and horseback riding trails.
The Claremont Village
The Claremont Village is where Gretchen and Jeff frequent for Sunday afternoon farmers markets, dinner outings, ice cream runs, and where they spend a lot of their free time. Exploring the village is a great way to explore their town. The village has over 150 shops, restaurants, bakeries, art galleries, day spas, boutiques, entertainment venues, hotels, lounges, and more.
California Botanic Garden
California Botanic Garden is the largest botanic garden dedicated to California native plants, promoting botany, conservation and horticulture to inspire, inform and educate the public and scientific community about California's native flora. The Botanic Garden is close to where Gretchen and Jeff live and is a great way to explore their local area.
Disneyland Park
We don't think Disneyland needs an explanation! If you have some time during your stay, enjoy a day or a few at the Disneyland Parks in Anaheim, CA.
Beach Cities
Our wedding venue is close to the San Bernardino National Forest and about 1-1.5 hours away from our favorite beaches. We love going to Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Crystal Cove State Park, and so many more. If you have time to venture to the beach June is a beautiful time to soak for the sun, sand, and waves!
Victoria Gardens Shopping Mall
Victoria Gardens is a modern pedestrian-centric outdoor mall. We have spent plenty of time here shopping, eating, and enjoying time with friends here.
