When should I RSVP by?

Answer

1-2 months in advance. We will need to have final headcount by Feb 15th.

Please RSVP on the website, send the bride or groom a direct message via text and/or via social media or mail back the RSVP card.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Are definitely welcome however please to make sure to rsvp and let us know how many are attending! We want everyone to relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate if you can make arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Is there a dress code?

Suit and tie, tux, formal gown, or floor-length dress. NO JEANS!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Can range from 30-50 degrees. Then again, who knows! It’s Iowa! May want to bring a light jacket.

What happens after the traditional ceremony?

Answer

After the traditional ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception for cocktail hour. Asian ceremony to follow.

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

Parking for the reception will be towards the back lot.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

No, hotel is a 2 min walking distance. Everyone is responsible for their own transportation. If needed, we can call you an Uber!
