We’re getting married!

The very first time we met was about twelve years ago. We worked at the same place and both had to see the boss at the same time. I was standing with my head down because I was shy, so I was pretending to look at the paper that was in my hand. We were stand while standing and waiting for the boss to assist us, I thought I would be polite and speak, but she just looked at me and nodded, then quietly whispered "hi"

The first time we met was twelve years ago at Data Vision. I had to have the boss sign off on a document. As I was standing there waiting I noticed a guy looking at me. I was thinking why is he staring at me. Can the boss hurry so he would stop staring. As he said Hi. I said Hi very quietly then looked down at my paper. Welp, that was really weird. I never saw him again until twelve years later I notice this man in a grey suit getting out of his car and into the crossfit gym I recently joined. My thought “who was that?” The next crossfit class I attended was my first class after finishing foundation. It was our first workout together. I decided to set my bar by the coach but little did I know Julius had his weight and bar right in front of me and to my surprise he was the guy that was awkwardly staring at me tweleve years ago.

We started out our day on a Saturday afternoon headed out to brunch at St. Kildas. First time ever being at this beautiful resturant. As we sit down at the table at the very corner walked in our very own wonderful friend Davie. To my facial expression was nothing but confusion as I was texting Davie that morning of. As we started to order breakfast Julius excuses himself to the restroom then a strange man who happened to be the owner of St.Kilda came up to me with a single rose and a card. The first card instructed me to not to be confused, don’t ask too many question, go with the flow and to go to the second location he had planned out and Davie was my special person who will be with me for the day. The second location was to TM Salon, my aunts salon for my shampoo and style. In that card my aunt gave me with the single rose, I was instructed to go to tne third location to get a mani/pedi. When we arrive Mercedez nail salon the owner came up with a card and a rose. The card gave the fourth location to message heights for a full body prenatal message. (Prego with Aeri) After the message, the masseuse gave me the last and final card and another single rose. In that card it said to go home and get dressed and he will meet me at the first place we went on our dinner date! As I arrive to Eatery A Julius was standing there at the very same exact table we sat at our first dates at with a rose in hand. We end our night with an amazing dinner & NO he didn’t propose.

As our usual Sunday we attend church every morning. However, this morning was different. Julius took the kids to church and I went to brunch with Davie and Megan for Megan’s birthday brunch. During brunch I get a text mesage from Julius saying “ I have to leave with my coworkers for a work event and the kids will be at the chuch. Can you please come pick them up?” Needless to say the inner mamma bear came out. Davie, Megan and I all left brunch and head to the church. Before Davie could park I had already jumped out of the car looking for the kids worried! One of the church members told me the kids was up by the balcony. Up I ran and I saw my dad then my family.. compelty confused. Julius then spoke in a microphone and said Greta can you come down from the balcony. As I got down there and started to walk down the aisle to him. Julius sang to me “A case of you by James Blake” at the end of the song he kneeled and asked “Will you marry me?” We ended our day in prayers with our pastor, family and friends. A perfect and absoulte suprising blessed Sunday.
