Lake Placid is legendary for big views and big scenery, but with a charming, small town twist. We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you.

A must-see for those new to the area; this is where ‘The Miracle’ happened in 1980, the US Hockey Team’s victory over the Soviet Union. Guided tours are available from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Dinner in a gondola? The Cottage has two of Whiteface Mountain's old ski gondolas on their outdoor deck for dining and their menu is one of our favorites. The views of Mirror Lake are just as good as they are from the mountain too!

The Cottage

The outdoor seasonal ice skating rink is open daily from 8:00AM – 10:00PM, just steps away from our venue space. Bring your own skates or take advantage of the free rentals on site.
