Not just for the park - if you walk all along the coast here you can do some amazing tidepooling

Lovers Point Park

The main event here is a carnival, or you can walk along a pretty great beach/explore the awesome shops and restaurants across the street

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

One of our favorite joint activities is redwood hiking (especially on misty days) - this is one of the best places for it near Santa Cruz

Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park

There are several great vineyard/wine tasting options in the area, but this one lets you bring a picnic and walk through coastal pine forest!

Beauregard Vineyards Tasting Room and Winery

Doesn't need to be this company, but Santa Cruz has some of the world's best kelp diving, which is Greg's favorite type of diving

Aqua Safaris Scuba Center
