Your guess is as good as Greg's! Come as you are or wish to be seen. (Wear what you want.)
Because Santa Cruz has so many amazing places to stay, there is not one area where guests have congregated, so we were not able to figure out a shuttle service that made any sort of logistical sense. We strongly encourage carpooling though, and are happy to help coordinate! Also, it's worth noting that the venue lets guests park overnight for no charge, so if you drink more than planned you can always catch a ride back to town and back up the next morning. (There will be cell phone service.)
We loved the idea of including children, but we are so blessed with friends who have become (amazing) parents that including them would have run us into space/budget constraints. That said, we definitely will not turn anyone away from the ceremony or even reception, you just may need to sit children on your lap. Also, one of the best things about Kennolyn (in our minds) is that it is spacious - the site has plenty of space for kids to hang out (including a small playground), and we are currently working to coordinate on-site babysitting away from the noise for people who want to be able to put their child to bed/check in on them without having to leave the wedding early. If you are interested in this, please contact Greg's sister Rae, at wannierr@gmail.com.
Whenever you want! If you do get in before Friday evening though, let us know because we may try to organize some activities during the day both Thursday and Friday (before our actual rehearsal at the venue).
