What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Bring casual clothes for the campfire and after-party!

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors in a covered pavilion. The reception is currently planned to be indoors if COVID-19 regulations allow at that time.

Where should I park?

Answer

Free parking is available at The Margate Resort whether you are staying there or just coming for the wedding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes, the room block is at The Margate Resort. When booking, reference the Finn-Danforth wedding. See the Accommodations page for more details.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #DestinationDanforth so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

If I purchase a gift from the ZOLA registry at another location, how do I mark the gift as purchased?

Answer

You need to reach out to ZOLA at (408) 657-9652 and they will mark that item as purchased. You will need both of our full names, the wedding date, and the item(s) purchased. Also, they will need your full name, and the order confirmation number (if purchased online).

Will there be dinner served at the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there will be a buffet dinner available to all guests. Even though this is a buffet, if there are restrictions related to Covid-19, staff will plate the food for you while you are in line. Buffet menu: - Hand carved roasted turkey with dressing, gravy, & cranberry sauce - Hand carved roast beef with au jus - Vegetarian lasagna If you have any food allergies please let us know immediately so we can check with the caterer prior to the event.
