Question

Does the wedding coincide with the beginning of Daylight Saving time?

Answer

Yes! We will get to all celebrate the beginning of Spring with an extra hour of sunlight on our wedding day. Please remember to adjust your clocks an hour ahead to ensure that you do not arrive late to the event!

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place on March 9, 2025 at 2 pm at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church - 301 Monmouth Ave, Spring Lake, NJ 07762. The reception will follow at 5pm at The Mill Lakeside Manor - 1309 Ocean Rd, Spring Lake, NJ 07762

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for parking and seating. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm. Cocktail hour will begin at 5pm at the Mill Lakeside Manor.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We've reserved a room block at The Breakers on the Ocean. Please visit our "Hotel & Trolley" page for booking details. If the room block fills up or you would like to select a room type that is not available in the block, you can book using the Standard OfferCode to book at the same rate.

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We would recommend checking into your hotel if you have not already. Check in for The Breakers Hotel begins at 3pm. Transportation will be provided from The Breakers to the reception venue. If you have already checked in or are not staying in the hotel, there are several sites to see in Spring Lake. We recommend depending on weather checking out the beach, Divine park, or exploring the many boutique shops on 3rd Ave between Madison and Passaic Ave.

Shuttles will be available from The Breakers on the Ocean to the venue. Please check the "Hotel & Trolley" section for pickup times and locations.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire, such as, cocktail dresses or suits with ties.

Where can I park?

Answer

Street parking is available for the ceremony and a large parking lot is available at the reception venue. We will also be providing a shuttle from the hotel to the reception venue.

How do I specify my meal preference?

Answer

Meal preference will be taken at the table and will include meat, fish, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. If you have an dietary restrictions or food allergies please let us know in your RSVP. Arrive at the reception hungry and ready to eat! We promise you will love the cocktail hour and food at the Mill!

Where can I eat before or the day after the wedding?

Answer

The Breakers on The Ocean has a hotel restaurant with limited hours between the months of December and April. Additionally it is perfectly located just a couple blocks away from the Spring Lake main street. There are a number of different cafes, restaurants and shops located on 3rd Ave between Madison and Passaic Ave.
