If you are traveling to Brazil from the United States, please review the notes and recommendations provided below to help ensure that your travel experience is as smooth and seamless as possible.
We are planning to visit the most significant tourist attractions as a group and also host a barbecue and pool gathering at Dani’s father’s house during the week of the wedding. If possible, we encourage you to arrive a few days early so that we can all enjoy some time together. Once you have purchased your tickets, please inform us so that, if feasible, we can assist with airport pickup or transportation from the airport to your hotel.
We are providing a list of hotel suggestions across different price ranges, however, we highly recommend checking Airbnb for affordable rentals. You are welcome to explore other options and consult with us as needed. We recommend all visitors stay in the neighborhoods of Leblon and Ipanema. Please reach out if you have any questions.

U.S. citizens traveling to Brazil need a visa starting April 10, 2025, for all purposes, including tourism and business. Fortunately, you can apply for this visa online, and do not need to visit an embassy. Please see the link at this website. Note: There is a fee of $85 USD per person.
