Travel

The Wedding Website of Brooke Eliason and Greg Heath
We recommend flying into SDQ (Santo Domingo Airport) and taking a ~2 hour taxi/shuttle to Las Terrenas You can fly to Punta Cana but its a ~4 hour shuttle Las Terrenas has a new airport (Samaná El Catey International Airport) right in town but has very limited flights and is $$$ We HIGHLY recommend staying on Playa Ballenas in Las Terrenas. You will be able to walk to the ceremony space, you'll be right on a beautiful beach, and there's plenty of yummy bars and restaurants. Regarding getting around, most people in Las Terrenas get around on mopeds and ATVs. We recommend renting one when you're here (only if you're comfortable - Brooke is still a passenger princess) and then you'll be able to explore lots more that Las Terrenas has to offer!
