Santarena is a 45-room, oceanfront hotel. We recommend booking soon after you have made your plans. This hotel is less than 3 minutes walking from all wedding events, restaurants, shops and the beach. This hotel also has an infinity rooftop pool. You will need to reserve your time and mention you are part of the wedding staying at the hotel. House Or Rental
There are many property rental options in Las Catalinas for either small or large groups. Your search results may show Beach Town Travel to book a home, but we have had the best experiences using VRBO and Expedia. Please note, all rentals are a quick walk away from all wedding activities, restaurants, etc. Please reach out to Katie or Josh if you need assistance finding a rental. It is recommended to have What’s App downloaded and ready to go before arriving. One guest from the house will get some check in instructions prior to arriving over What’s App, and if you need anything throughout your stay you can message there. *A 2-10 minute walk to Danta beach indicates you are looking at a property very close to all events. You do not want your property to be a few miles away from Las Catalinas. It will be inconvenient to get to and from wedding events if you stay outside of Las Catalinas. Please view the FAQ tab on the website for linked out houses. *Some houses come with Beach Club access. The club has three pools, a hot tub, a gym, a sauna, a cold plunge, a locker room with showers along with a restaurant and bar. Day passes to the beach club can also be purchased separately.

Casa Chameleon is a Relais Chateau property. It is a 5 minute walk uphill from all of the wedding events. There is a golf cart service. There is no wedding block at this hotel. Please note, there are several Casa Chameleon locations. Please make sure you are selecting the Las Catalinas location specifically.

Flight
The drive from Liberia airport to Las Catalinas is around an hour. We don't recommend flying into San Jose airport because of the distance to Las Catalinas. There are direct flights from Newark, JFK, Miami, Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Charlotte, Boston, Baltimore, Seattle, Minneapolis and Philadelphia.
Rental Car
Multiple rental car options are available at the airport. We recommend booking a rental car ahead of time. You can also get a taxi when exiting the airport. They are usually around $100 cash. You will see someone holding an official taxi sign of sorts. There are van/shuttle options from Liberia airport to Las Catalinas for all group sizes. Please remember, you need a passport to travel to Costa Rica and your passport must be valid for more than 6 months past your return travel date.

Going through customs in Costa Rica is very simple, but once you have your travel plans arranged (where you are staying/for how many nights and your return flight information), we recommend screenshotting and saving those details as you will have to show that information. If you do not have service or have not connected to WiFi, it will be difficult to pull the information up quickly so it is helpful to have it ready to go.
