Tamaki is a Nikkei cuisine restaurant by the hand Chef Brian Tan, an original student of the Nikkei movement. Expect a tantalizing array of classic Nikkei creations, from tiradito, a marriage of sushi and ceviche, to comforting ramen, and dishes like Yakimeshi, a Japanese-style fried rice.
The Brewhouse is a beachside bar and restaurant featuring ice-cold Papagayo beers on tap, cocktails, and tasty casual bites. The welcome party will be here on Friday night!
The Deli at Copper & Stone purveys baked goods, freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee, and lighter fare in a casual setting. Pick up a quick lunch or snack on your way to the beach or trails, or linger on the terrace. The fruit cups, smoothies/juices and coconuts are some of our favorites!

Sentido Norte is an open-air restaurant and bar with breathtaking sunsets and panoramic views of the coast. The menu celebrates Costa Rica’s bounty, focusing on local seafood and uniquely native ingredients. This restaurant is located at Casa Chameleon and we recommend making a reservation on Open Table ahead of time.

Las Catalinas and Casa Chameleon often have different yoga classes and Pilates classes in the morning. The Center of Joy has various yoga and Pilates classes, for about $20 a class. We recommend checking the Las Catslinas Instagram account for the schedule as we get closer to the date!

At 5,437 feet (1,657 meters), the Arenal Volcano looms large over the pastured green hillsides that surround its base. Although currently in a resting phase, Arenal remained the country’s most active volcano for the past 43 years.
If you are looking for a fun activity, there are lots of things to do here! We love the zip lining. If you rented a car you can drive here from Las Catalinas, or the hotel can help arrange a car to take you and pick you up.
