The Riverfront neighborhood is a quick trip away from the Sheraton Suites Hotel, featuring a riverfront walkway along the Christina River with lots of places to eat and entertainment. Some of our favorite spots include: Constitution Yards and Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant
Located near the Sheraton Suites Hotel, Stich House is a great brewery featuring local beer and food.
Longwood Gardens is a botanical garden featuring 11,000 varieties of plants spread out across more than 1,000 acres of gardens, meadows, woodlands, elaborate horticultural displays and fountains. Originally founded by Pierre du Pont in 1906, Longwood Gardens has since become world renowned for its dedication to botany, design, education and art. Renowned for its holdings of the Wyeth family of artists, the Museum features galleries dedicated to the work of N. C. Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth and Jamie Wyeth. This museum hold's a special place in Lauren's heart as her and her dad spent many hours there growing up!
Located on 235 acres along the banks of the Brandywine in Wilmington, Delaware, Hagley is the site of the gunpowder works founded by E. I. du Pont in 1802. This example of early American industry includes restored mills, a workers' community, and the ancestral home and gardens of the du Pont family.
