FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire/semi-formal

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love and adore each and every one of our guests' children, we are looking forward to an adults-only evening (and we hope you are too!). Immediate nieces and nephews of the Bride and Groom will be attending.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The church and venue are 0.6 miles apart so we invite you to walk or take the short drive between the two!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 1:00 pm. We suggest arriving at 12:30pm so you can comfortably park, find your seat, and settle in.

Question

Can I take pictures at the wedding?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for him to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We request that any additional desired guests not addressed on the invitation envelope are confirmed with the bride or groom prior to the wedding date.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Free parking is available at the church for the ceremony. Street parking and a parking garage will be available at the reception venue.
