The couple met while working at My Fit Life Personal Training together in 2017. Greer was Kyle’s manager as he worked as a personal trainer in graduate school. Kyle had to put Greer through a workout as part of his interview for the job. He passed that part and a few months later with the help of their boss, Ryan, and some friends Kyle and Greer started dating in the summer of 2017. In the mean time, they became fur parents to cats, Benny and Jet (who in Greer fashion asked if they could get one kitten but came home with two) along with Kyle’s dog Oakley, who had a hard time allowing anyone else in Kyle’s life. They bought a house together in Uniontown, OH in 2019, got engaged in December 2020 and will be married in July 2022.

On December 12, 2020 both of their families came over for what was meant to be an OSU/Michigan game but ended up getting cancelled due to covid. They decided to still have the small get together as a way to get their families, who live in different cities, together before the holidays. It was also a celebration for Kim, Kyle’s moms birthday. With all of their loved ones, cupcakes and champagne to celebrate, who knew an engagement would soon happen! As Greer was doing a final cleanup in the kitchen Kyle asked Chris, Greer’s dad, to come downstairs to “look at sonething”. Kyle showed him the ring and asked for permission to marry Greer, which he planned to propose during their Christmas celebration together in a few weeks. Chris told Kyle “why don’t yoy just go do it now while we’re all here”. Kyle who was promised by Greer there was no way he could ever sneak a surprise past her went upstairs and gathered everyone into the living room. He called Greer in who was still cleaning and annoyed he wasn’t helping, went into the room where everyone was and Kyle propsed with both of their families there.
