The Wedding Website of Michael McGonigle and Danielle Greenwald
"You're killing me, Smalls! These are s'mores stuff! Okay, pay attention. First, you take the graham, you stick the chocolate on the graham. Then you roast the 'mallow. When the 'mallow's flaming... you stick it on the chocolate. Then cover with the other end. Then you scarf. Kind of messy, but good!" ⸺ Ham Porter in 'The Sandlot'
Question

Is there a convenience store nearby?

Answer

The Abbey's gift shop is well stocked with things you might need like toiletries, hats, belts, wine, and more.

Question

WILL HOBBES BE THERE?

Answer

Unfortunately, Dani has decided to make this a dog-less wedding, disappointing Hobbes' hundreds of fans. She even snuck a provision into the venue contract that dogs are not allowed. This has been our largest argument to date and may or may not still be ongoing. (I am trying to dress Hobbes up in a suit and teach him to walk on his hind legs like a human. If you see a 2-foot figure in a trench coat, ask him if he wants a treat.) His presence will be missed. Hobbes will be at a doggy daycare running, jumping, and playing with his many friends. ⸺ Michael

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but our wedding celebration will include only adults except for our nieces and our nephew.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please talk to us if there is someone important in your life who you'd like to bring to our wedding. No rogue plus ones please!

Question

What is the hospitality room?

Answer

We reserved a small event space, The Abbey's Sandbar room, for our friends and family to hang out, meet people, and grab refreshments. There will be comfortable seating, water, snacks, and games. Feel free to hang here anytime Saturday and Sunday!

Question

What is Pi Day and why are Danielle and Michael so obsessed with it?

Answer

Pi Day is 3.14 or March 14. Since we were kids, we both have always celebrated this special day each year, which is commemorated by eating pie. We love pie⸺some would say we're pie people. We couldn't be more lucky that Pi Day falls the day before our wedding. We're just as excited to celebrate Pi Day with all of our loved ones as we are our wedding. We think that's totally normal.

Question

What does Putt Putt have to do with Pi Day?

Answer

Nothing. We just like it.

For all the days along the way
