Helena has a small regional airport, which can be convenient, but often has fewer flight options and higher fares, especially for folks traveling from farther away. Rental cars are available at the airport, and we highly recommend renting a car if flying into Helena, as rideshare options like Uber are limited and not very reliable in the area.

We recommend checking flights into Bozeman in addition to Helena. Bozeman typically has more flight options, including nonstop routes, and is often more affordable. Rental cars are available onsite at the airport. The drive from Bozeman to Helena is about 1.5 hours and is a beautiful route through Montana scenery.
