Matron of Honor
Ellen is Emma’s only sister and the mom to four of Emma and Sean’s favorite people. Emma was the maid of honor at her and Drew’s wedding in 2013. Despite her busy schedule, Ellen has put her heart into the calligraphy and flowers for Emma and Sean’s wedding. Her advice, even though it is often unsolicited, has guided Emma and now Sean to their wedding day and they can’t wait to have her by their side.
Maid of Honor
Kelly has been Emma’s best friend since the diaper days. After 26 years of friendship, Emma cannot imagine her wedding without Kelly by her side. Kelly is the most generous friend you could ever have. She's graduated from sharing her candy, snack bar money, and video games to helping throw the best bridal shower and bachelorette.
Bridesmaid
Hanley is one of Emma’s oldest friends. From BBT to Navy to Bayly swim teams, Hanley and Emma did them all together. Despite going to different high schools and colleges, and now living on different sides of Maryland, Hanley remains one of the most reliable, trustworthy, and loyal friends out there.
Bridesmaid
When Emma was transferring to St. Mary’s and decided to join the swim team, a mutual friend told Emma to meet Rachel because they were destined to be friends. They were right and 8 years later, they are still besties. Rachel is incredible teammate, teacher, and someone who will always belt the lyrics to Mr. Brightside with Emma.
Bridesmaid
Becca and Emma swam together in college, but they really became close after college when they both ended up in southern Maryland. She keeps Emma going to the pool and is the best trivia buddy ever. Southern Maryland would not be the same without Becca, and Emma is so grateful to have such an amazing friend to experience this phase of life with. Becca and her fiance, Andrew, live only a mile away from where Emma lives now.
Bridesmaid
Nora and Emma are friends from St. Mary’s College. They both majored in biology and share love for Catan, being outside, and the Green Door. Nora is incredibly genuine and kind. She is also the life of the party and is always down to shut down a bar with Emma.
Groomsman
Justin and I have been friends since meeting at “high school.” From playing call of duty, being a rock for me during college, to partying in the streets of DC when the Capitals won the Stanley Cup he has always been there for me. Justin is now a Senior Cell Engineer at Tesla..Way more successful than me but whatever.
Groomsman
Luke is Emma’s only brother and probably knew me better than Emma up until she and I started dating. He is funny, hard working, and thoughtful. He has been someone I’ve very much looked up to and can’t wait to be his brother!
Best Man
Nathan is the middle brother of the Ewing clan. Loyalty. Anyone Nathan has ever met would describe him starting with that quality (the second would be annoying smart guy). Anytime I’ve needed something he’s come through. He’s seen me at my best and worst. He’s been at my side the two greatest days of my life thus far: when I proposed to Emma and when the Chainsmokers came to my college (the most fun I ever had). Nathan is now somehow balancing being a PA in Trauma for the PG County hospital and the Army National Guard.
Best Man
Connor is my youngest of two brothers. I’ve leaned on him and Nathan for support more than anyone on Earth and he has always been there for me and someone I can trust with anything. He is the type of person that will walk into a room and everyone will immediately want to be around and I can’t believe I’ve so lucky to have him with me my whole life. Connor just got promoted to Lieutenant and is a Naval Aviator flying the MH-60R helicopter.
Groomsman
Gerard is my best friend from college (and in general). There is not one moment when you are around him that is boring (unless one of his sports teams losses a big game). Gerard is loyal, quick witted, and the most entertaining person I was lucky enough to not only meet but have by my side the last 10 years. He is now a Senior Marketing Associate at Share Local Media in New York City.
Groomsman
JJ was a coworker of mine when I started working at American Pool in 2019 and became one of my best friends. I am convinced there is no better coworker and friend you can have in the world than him. His ability to listen, give advice, and support me through the “horror” that was our livelihood at work was unreal and I do not want to know where my career and life trajectory would have gone without him. He is now a Senior Recruiter at American Pool.
