FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible, but we would love to know by August 1.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, we love your kids and want them to be a part of our special day! Please RSVP for your kids and let Emma (301-395-5757) know if I left your children out. We will have childcare available during the reception on site. We will not be providing the kids with the venue's meal. Instead, the kids will have pizza in the babysitting room. We would appreciate it if your older children (over 2) would stay in the babysitting room during the dinner and toast portion of the program, but we understand that it may not be possible. After dinner and toasts, we would love them to join the dance party. If you don't want them to join you, the babysitters will be there. (: We want to make our wedding as easy as possible for moms and dads so please let us know what you need to make that happen!

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, please indicate any dietary preferences when you RSVP so the venue can accommodate.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to Emma's home at 44340 Ocelot Way, California, MD 20619. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress attire is semi-formal. Women, please feel free to wear a cocktail dress, a nice jumpsuit, or dressy pants with a blouse. Men, a jacket and tie would be much appreciated. The weather will be hot, and the ceremony will be held at a Catholic Church. Please consider this while picking an outfit.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony location, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will have ample parking. As for the reception, parking is a little trickier. If you are staying at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel, each sleeping room is guaranteed one parking spot on property. After that, it is first come first serve for daily parkers. Pricing is as follows - subject to change: Daily Parking - $25 up to 8 hours Longer than 8 hours- $35 Paul’s Parking Lot - located right next door. Pricing varies but is typically around the following: Mon. - Fri. $30; Sat. & Sun. $40 Lastly, metered parking down the street and a garage a few blocks away (roughly 8-10 minute stroll). We will have an open bar, so we suggest using a ride-sharing app or carpooling with a designated driver.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes to an hour before the ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 3 pm.
