Grand Teton National Park

WY

You won't regret going to Grand Teton National Park while you are here! Be sure to stop at Dornan's on your way in or out of the park for pizza and a cold beer! Explore via car or bike! See some of our favorite spots below.. PHELPS LAKE JUMPING ROCK An easy to moderate hike around Phelps Lake with an optional pit stop at the locally infamous jumping rock. 5.0 miles round trip from the Death Canyon Trail Head. PADDLEBOARD AT STRING LAKE Rent a paddle board in town at Rendevous River sports and then head to string lake for the day! If you are crunched on time, its worth it to just park, take a dip and hike around the lake! DELTA LAKE If you are looking for a little bit more of a challenge, the Delta Lake hike in Grand Teton National Park is a strenuous 7.5 to 8-mile out-and-back trek starting at the Lupine Meadows Trailhead. Known for its stunning milky-turquoise water, the hike takes about 4–6 hours and features an unofficial, unmarked scramble over logs and boulder fields.

Fly Fishing with Teton Troutfitters

Looking for a guided fly fishing experience? We can't recommend Teton Troutfitters enough!

Scenic Float Trip

If you have a free morning or afternoon, we highly recommend a scenic float down the Snake River with Barker-Ewing Scenic Float Trips. This relaxing 2½–3 hour adventure through Grand Teton National Park offers breathtaking views of the Tetons and the chance to spot wildlife including moose, elk, bald eagles, and more—all while an experienced guide rows and shares stories about the area's history and ecology. It's one of our favorite ways to experience Jackson Hole, and we think you'll love it too! We recommend reserving your trip in advance, as Labor Day weekend is a busy time in Jackson.

Explore the Town Square- Shops + Resturants

One of our favorite ways to spend a day is simply wandering around Jackson's iconic Town Square. Grab a coffee and pastry from Persephone Bakery or Snake River Roasters, browse the local shops (especially Midnight Lunch!), and soak in the charm of downtown. When you're ready for a bite, Café Genevieve is a favorite for brunch, while Teton Tiger serves up an incredible casual dinner with Asian-inspired cuisine. Some of our other favorite dinner spots include the Kampai, Glorietta, Snake River Grille for a nicer date-night feel. If your looking for something casual you can't go wrong with the Roadhouse Pub + Eatery or Handfire Pizza. If you're looking to end the evening like a local, grab a drink at the legendary Million Dollar Cowboy Bar or the Silver Dollar and enjoy some live music and dancing. Jackson is full of great restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and western charm—we hope you'll take some time to explore and enjoy everything our little mountain town has to offer!
