Maid of Honor
Most of y'all know but in case you don't, LeeAnn is my outrageously hilarious younger sister. She's the most caring and compassionate person and celebrates those close to her better than anyone I know. It should tell you all you need to know about LeeAnn when I tell you she is in 7 weddings this year, including ours. To know her is to love her and her "27 dresses sized" bridesmaid portfolio shows you how many people love her and want her by their side! LeeAnn is the funniest person in every room she enters and never ceases to have people dying with her quick wit. She's been my built in best friend since the day she was born although we've had our fair share of sister fights. One which took place when we were traveling together in Italy and we spent an entire 24 hours not speaking to each other. We laugh because the best meal we had all trip was eaten in complete silence haha! She is the first person I call when I need to vent, have a cry, need advice, or just want a good laugh. I truly don't know what I would do without her!

I first met Corinne when we were both in our awkward phases way back in 5th grade. We were instant friends despite her being in her horse girl era haha! Corinne, best known to my family and most friends throughout high school and our twenties, as Corn quickly became my bonus sister. She lived with my family on and off throughout high school and even took over my room at the house my parents built on the lake which everyone now refers to as Corinne's room. When I tell anyone about her or tell a story involving her I always refer to her as my sister, because that's truly what she is. She's LeeAnn and Travis' second older sister and my mom and dad's third daughter. Corinne knows me better than almost anyone and has been through every phase and stage of life with me and my family for the past 20+ years. The memories and laughs are too many to count and we never have a dull moment reminiscing. There's no doubt in my mind Corinne will be in my life for the next 20 years and the 20 after that.

Andrea and I met during preseason my freshman year at Arkansas. She had transferred from Oklahoma State to play at Arkansas and boy am I glad she did! Andrea's one of those girls that's hard not to like. She loves a good prank and is always up for an adventure. I loved going through so many stages of life with Andrea but one of my favorite's has been watching her become an incredible mom to the 3 sweetest kiddos. Although she lives several states away and we don't get to see each other as often as we'd like, we pick up right where we left off every time we do. She's one of the first people I call to ask for advice or share big news with. But she's also one of those friends who I can sit on FaceTime with for an hour and a half while we both do chores around the house. We have a long list of hilarious stories and memories and that list will absolutely continue to grow for years and years to come. I can't imagine this day without her by my side!

Erica is one of my closest friends and I'm also lucky enough to call her family as well! She's married to my cousin, Charlie B, and we refer to each other as Cousin-in-laws haha! Charlie has always been more like a brother to me than a cousin and when I first met Erica I knew how truly perfect she was for him. Selfishly I was also pumped because I loved her and knew we'd be great friends with or without Charlie! We even established that early on in our friendship, that even if something happened with them, that we'd remain besties. Lucky for me.. and Charlie.. they got married so now family functions are even more fun! We always joke that we're lucky we like each other because we would've had to hang out all the time any ways. Erica is the kind of friend you don't have to have elaborate plans with. I can invite her over to watch TV in pjs with takeout and we have a blast having a low key night. She's low maintenance and just someone you can't help but enjoy being around. I stood by her side on her day and I wouldn't have it any other way than her by my side for mine!

When I describe Hailey to anyone, I say she's my "down for anything friend". She's the friend I can call at any time and ask if she wants to join on a trip somewhere, and 90% of the time she says yes and is shortly after sending me a picture of her flight information. I first met Hailey when I was her host for her official visit at Arkansas. Bikes, Blues, and BBQs (IYKYK) was taking place in Fayetteville that weekend and my parents were in town so I decided to bend the rules a little bit and take Hailey down to Dickson St. with my parents and a few of our other teammates to watch the motorcycle parade. I swore her to secrecy and made her promise not to tell any of the other recruits. That was a telltale sign of how our friendship would unfold for all the years to come. I bet she'd still say she had the best official visit of all recruits ;) Hailey is one of (if not the most) loyal person I know and loves her people SO well. Hailey is sweet but also sassy and can get along with just about anyone. She's always there for me no matter what and I am so very thankful for her friendship!

Allie not only is one of my dearest friends, but she's also my birthday buddy! Although a year apart, we both were born on September 5 and it's something that has bonded us even more than our incredible friendship. I've known Allie since my freshman year of college when I met her on her official visit. She wasn't my recruit (see Hailey's story above haha) but when she got to campus the next year I got to know her more and learned how much fun she is! Despite being another one of my long distance best friends, we've spent majority of the past decades birthdays together and I always tell her there's no one I'd rather share a birthday with. Allie is sweet and caring and is always down for a good time, that one way or another ends up involving dancing and laughing. She's a great listener and always makes you leave a conversation feeling heard. She loves an adventure and even traveled across the world to come stay with me in Australia when I had a 6 week rotation for PA school there. She's one of those friends that no matter how long it's been since the last time we talked, we pick right up where we left off.

Nicole and I met when I first moved to Raleigh. She was in the friend group I met through Erica that took me in as their own. We'd soon find out how much we had in common. Nik is also a PA, she played basketball in college, and we have a mutual tendency to prioritize a good workout. What we also had in common was our faith. I'm not sure if she even really remembers this but after a few months of living in Raleigh, Nik texted me saying she noticed I was a Christian from Instagram and asked if I wanted to join her for church. I had tried a few churches in the area but hadn't landed at a home yet so I started going with her. I'd say our friendship really strengthened from there. Nicole is strong and steady. She's the fun friend you spend late nights screaming and dancing with at the bar but also the one you call for her opinion and advice. Our hangouts these days typically entail a workout and dinner but I always leave time spent with her feeling "cup filled". Nicole is also getting married this year, a little over a month before us, and it has been so much fun getting to go through this season with her!

Cristina and I have been friends since basically the day we met way back in 8th grade. It all started when we picked her up from her middle school to come to my house and ride to soccer practice with my mom and I because both her parents were out of town. It was a completely awkward first meeting, that we often laugh about, with us not even knowing what she looked like bc she was new to the team, and her being crammed in the back seat with my little brother and sister. We hit it off immediately and were basically attached at the hip after that. She even used to come on our family reunions and is referred to, by my entire extended family, as "Midge", which is the nickname I came up for her bc she is 5' on her tallest day haha. Cristina is one of those friends who quickly became family. She's seen me at my best and has picked me up when I've been at my worst and I think she'd say the same goes the other way. After being long distance besties for about 8 years, she moved to Chapel Hill for her Radiology residency and now we get to see each other more often!

Ryan is one of my best friend Andrea's 3 incredibly adorable kids. She's the middle child and only girl and my goodness is she something special. She's FULL of sass and is a strong, independent little girl all while still being sweet as pie. I've loved every minute of watching this little firecracker grow up, even if most of it has been through Facetimes and videos/pics from her momma. I can't wait to have little lady strut down that aisle in a little white dress tossing flowers!
