Travel Note

Getting to Oaxaca

Most guests will fly into Oaxaca International Airport (OAX), located about 20–30 minutes from the city center. Direct flights are available from some major cities in the U.S., however most U.S. flights will need to have connections that are available through Mexico City, Guadalajara, or Monterrey. Please note that upon arriving at your first connection, you will need to go through customs so allow yourself enough time to get through customs and your connecting flight. Upon arrival to Oaxaca International Airport, we would suggest you look for the airport shuttle vans or taxi stations located right outside of the baggage claim. You can either choose to get a shared shuttle or a direct taxi to your hotel.

Getting Around

Oaxaca is a walkable, vibrant city with reliable transportation options. Taxis and rideshares (such as DiDi) are widely available, and most hotels can help arrange transportation. Please note that most taxis are cash only and we would advise for our guests to have pesos to pay for taxis.

Shuttle

Shuttle back to Zocalo area

Shuttles will be provided from the reception back to the Zocalo area where most of our hotels are located. The first shuttle will leave the wedding at 12am and the last shuttle will leave at 2am. Please note that if at any point you wish to leave the reception before the shuttle, you can ask the wedding planners to arrange taxi transportation directly to your hotel.
