The ceremony and reception is black tie. For ladies, black tie means long and formal dresses. For gentlemen, black tie means tuxedos. The dress code for the rehearsal dinner (by invitation only) and welcome party is cocktail attire/coat & tie.
While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. Please make childcare arrangements if needed. We hope you enjoy a fun night out with us! Thank you for understanding.

Oaxaca enjoys warm days, cooler evenings, and plenty of sunshine. Pack comfortable shoes for cobblestone streets, a light layer for nighttime, and, of course, your black tie attire.

Because our wedding is taking place in Oaxaca, Mexico, we highly recommend that guests exchange U.S. dollars into Mexican pesos before arriving. While Oaxaca is very tourist-friendly, having pesos on hand will make your trip much smoother—especially in places that are cash-only.
Your local bank (usually the best rates; order pesos a few days in advance) Currency exchange offices at major airports Trusted currency exchange centers in your hometown If needed, you can also withdraw pesos from ATMs in Oaxaca, but fees and limits may vary.
Hotels, most restaurants, and shops in central Oaxaca: Yes — credit and debit cards are widely accepted. Street vendors, small cafés, taxis, markets (mercados), and craft stands: Cash only, and they prefer Mexican pesos. We encourage everyone to arrive with at least some pesos on hand for small purchases, tipping, and transportation. It will make your experience easier and more enjoyable!
Yes, shuttles will be provided at the end of La Calenda (Oaxacan parade) to Casa Don Luis Jardin, where we will have our cocktail hour and reception. Please note that our reception is about 20/30 minutes from the Zocalo hotel area.
