Drury Plaza Hotel Richmond

We have set up a courtesy block with Drury Plaza Richmond Hotel, for 25 rooms. When booking, let them know you are part of the Wedoff Wedding hotel block, and you will be given a discounted rate. NOTE: This hotel block does not become active until December 24th 2026!!! So block room bookings will not be available until then. We will also be offering a free transportation via charter bus. This bus will pick up guest from Drury Hotel at 2:30PM and drop guests off at 3:10PM at Avonlea Farm. The bus will then make two trips from the wedding venue to the hotel, to take guests back after reception and dancing is over. The first pick up will be at 11PM and the second will be at midnight. Transportation can be used even if you book at another hotel, but you will be responsible for your transportation between hotels. Drury is located within Short Pump, which is walking distance to the mall, restaurants, activities, and other hotels. It is a 37min drive from Drury to Avonlea Farm (venue) and a 26min drive from Richmond International Airport.

Shuttle

Shuttle from Main Hotel (Drury) to wedding venue (Avonlea Farm)

September 24, 2027 2:30 pm - 12:00 am

A charter bus (Winn Transportation) will run from Drury to Avonlea to drop guests off at the venue before the ceremony. Pick up from the hotel will be at 2:30PM, and drop off at Avonlea will be at 3:10PM. The ceremony will then proceed at 4:00PM. The charter bus will then pick guests up from the wedding venue at two time points, 9:30PM and 10:50PM, and drop them off at Drury Plaza Hotel. The bridal party will be dropped off at the venue early in the morning by an assigned person (not the shuttle). However, the extra shuttle at the end of the night will be available for transportation back to the hotel. Golf carts will be available during the wedding to transport guests around the venue; however, the venue is walkable.

Richmond International Airport

Richmond International Airport has lots of flights and airlines, and we recommend flying in and out of this airport as delays are less common, and it is only a 26min drive away from the hotel block at Drury Plaza Hotel.
