Semi-Formal and Garden Party Attire
If you prefer to dress more formally, suits and cocktail dresses are a great option. However, as our wedding is in an outdoor garden/greenhouse, sundresses, floral prints, and suits in lighter hues are also encouraged! Ties and jackets are completely optional. The ceremony will take place outside in a shaded area, and the reception is located in a greenhouse with AC, but please dress for comfort! You can expect warm weather during the day with cooler weather going into the evening.
Ceremony
4:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Please arrive at the venue by 3:30 PM, as the ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM. Parking will be available at the main entrance of the venue, and staff will assist with parking and transportation via golf carts from the parking lot to the ceremony location.
Cocktail Hour
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Following the conclusion of the ceremony, cocktail hour will proceed. Cocktail hour is on-site and a short walk from the ceremony location, but staff will be available to direct and shuttle guests via golf cart. Light bites and drinks will be available during this time, as well as a cash bar. Please take your time to mingle with guests and enjoy a refreshing drink and beautiful view.
Reception
5:30 pm - 10:00 pm

After cocktail hour, guests will be directed into the greenhouse for the welcoming of the Bride and Groom. First dances will occur, followed by an Italian and Greek buffet-style dinner (vegetarian and allergy-friendly options available) and cake. Dancing and a cash bar will proceed until the conclusion of the night (10:00 PM). If drinking, please plan for transportation back to the hotel. Hotel blocks will be at Drury Plaza in Short Pump, Richmond (37 min). A free shuttle will depart Avonlea Farm at 9:30 PM and 10:50 PM. The 10:50 PM is the LAST shuttle, and is intended for guests who want to stay until the end of the reception, the bridal parties, and families.
