Solid grub and good folks, plus live music on select weekends.

LEXINGTON

LEXINGTON

Lexington, KY 40502

Lexington was home for Grayson for 12+ years, and for both of us the last few. There are lots of great restaurants and fun things to do if you're flying in or extending your trip there. These are a few of our favorites: Dining & Drinking - Bourbon 'n' Toulouse (casual, funky, Cajun spot) - Cole's on Main (fine dining but not too stuffy) - Winchell's (neighborhood pub/sports bar with comfort food; our second date was here!) - Crank 'n' Boom (craft ice cream (get the Blueberry Lime Cheesecake); Heide worked here!) - Goodfellas/Distillery District (NY-style pizza spot in a renovated industrial district; lots of good bars and a brewery walking distance) - Country Boy Brewing - Henry Clay's Public House (Grayson's house gig for the first few years of his career; in the heart of downtown) Activities - Keeneland Race Track - Ashland Estate (Henry Clay's home) - Kentucky Theatre (downtown cinema for new and classic films) - UK Basketball may be in town the week of our wedding, check back!
