Overflow parking is available near Hoedown Island, below the Woodland Center. It is an uphill walk to the ceremony and reception, but is paved and only about a 5-minute walk.
We suggest wearing semi-casual to semi-formal attire. Feel free to dress it up as much as you want, but mainly, we want you to feel comfortable and have a chance to show off your personal style! See ideas and suggestions below. - nice jeans, khakis, or dress slacks - button-down shirts, polos - suits are great too - tie optional - dress shoes, nice boots, etc. - sundresses or knee-length or mid-length dresses - dress shoes, nice boots, flats, heels if you're brave It could be a bit chilly during the outdoor ceremony, likely a few degrees cooler than what your phone says! We will have shawls available for those that need an extra layer in a pinch. :)
We love your kids, but have opted to go with a kid-free wedding ceremony and reception.
We will have light snacks and appetizers following the ceremony, around 4:30pm. Dinner will begin around 5:30pm and will be a buffet-style offering. Plenty of cake and ice cream (yep, we're having ice cream) after that.
