Calgary International Airport (YYC)
The easiest way to reach Banff is by flying into Calgary International Airport (YYC), which is about a 1.5-hour drive from Banff. From there, you can rent a car, take a shuttle, or arrange private transportation to the resort. Shuttle services run frequently and are a great stress-free option if you prefer not to drive.

For transportation, we recommend booking a shuttle in advance for a smooth, stress-free arrival. Two of the most popular options are: Banff Airporter – Offers convenient door-to-door service directly from the airport to the Fairmont Banff Springs. Brewster Express – Provides scheduled transfers throughout the day with drop-offs at key locations, including the Fairmont. Shuttles run regularly from early morning through the evening, and reservations are required in advance. Both shared and private transfer options are available depending on your preference. If you’d prefer more flexibility, rental cars and rideshare services are also available from the airport. No matter how you choose to get there, the drive into Banff is incredibly beautiful—and part of the experience. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in the mountains!
