Gray and I both attended the same chiropractic school, but for a long time, we were just acquaintances. Every trimester after finals, our class would gather at an Irish pub called Milo’s Bar. One night, I happened to be sitting with some friends when Gray came over and joined us. I turned to him and asked, “If you could meet any singer, dead or alive, who would you pick?” It was such a simple question, but it sparked the first real conversation we ever had—and looking back, I truly believe that moment was God’s quiet way of beginning something bigger than either of us could have imagined. Not long after that, Gray asked me on our first date—a Texas Rangers game. We couldn't even tell you the score by the end of the night because we spent the entire time talking, laughing, and connecting. From that day on, we knew something special was unfolding. And as we look back, it’s clear that God was weaving our stories together from the very beginning. A few months later, life led us down different paths—Gray began his internship in Dallas, and I moved to Nashville for mine. That marked the first of several seasons of long distance. Eventually, I took a wonderful opportunity to work with my dad in Chicago, while Gray began his chiropractic career in Crossville, Tennessee. Though we were often far apart, we were never alone. God was with us through every mile, every challenge, and every transition. In every season, He gave us the strength to hold fast to what mattered most: our faith, each other, and our families. Through it all, we’ve seen how God’s timing is always perfect. What began with a simple question in a crowded bar has grown into a love rooted in faith, commitment, and grace. We are so thankful for the journey that brought us here—and even more grateful to walk into the future, side by side, with God at the center of it all.
