How do I get around?
Answer
Given that we will be in small town Wisconsin, we recommend renting a car, especially for those of you staying at the Holiday Inn Express or another accommodation of your choice. There will be shuttles to and from the wedding venue for BOTH hotels on the day of the wedding (Saturday). Please see the Travel & Hotels section of the website for details on when shuttles leave from your hotel - you can also ask the front desk of your hotel for any updates. For those of you looking to carpool, please reach out to Gray or Joan, and we can help connect you with other guests!

What should I wear?
Answer
Semi-formal attire, meaning suits, knee-length dresses or longer, or formal wear from your culture or custom. In addition to avoiding white, we ask that those wearing dresses avoid dark pink and those wearing suits avoid plum (dark purple-red). Because the ceremony will take place outdoors, we recommend shoes that you feel comfortable wearing on softer grass/lawn. We also recommend that you bring extra layers (shawls, cardigans, etc) in case it gets cold in the evening!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. The dinner and late night entertainment will take place in a barn. The barn does not have central heating, so please consider bringing layers in case of October chill!
