FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would love to know you're coming! Please RSVP by May 1st at the latest.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would prefer everyone celebrates with us in semi-formal attire such as cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, dark suits and ties.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, the courtyard at the Westin has a 3 panel roof so if there is inclement weather the courtyard will still be used. The reception will take place indoors in the hotel's ballroom.

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

We completely understand! Please leave us a note when you RSVP and we will be sure to accommodate you as best as we can.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot adjacent to the hotel that charges by the hour as well as free street parking around the venue after 5pm. The hotel also has a valet service available for purchase.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

While we recommend you stay at the Westin, there are other options within walking distance such as the Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, and the Hyatt Regency.

Question

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is a sufficient present, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table available for your convenience.

Question

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in Buffalo?

Answer

We are so excited that you are traveling to attend our big day! There are many attractions in Buffalo, such as Canalside, the Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House, the History Museum, the Botanical Gardens, the Albright-Knox Art Museum (hopefully will be open by June), and you could even take a short trip to see Niagara Falls.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Buffalo weather in mid June is typically in the low 70's and sunny. So please be dressed for the sunshine!
