Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code will be cocktail/semiformal attire. If you would like please attempt for "Garden Party" pastels, and summer colors. It will be the beginning of August and warm so please do keep in mind the weather. Ladies: Midi or Maxi dresses, light pastels and summer colors, satin, patterned and textures are encouraged! Men: Linen and pastels are encourage no ties are required. Please, strictly NO jeans or shorts as well as no ivory or white for the ladies.

What time should I arrive for the Ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Saint John The Baptist (Shorewood) at 1:30 pm and no later than 1:45 pm

When should I arrive at the Reception?

Answer

Please arrive to Como Conservatory at 6:30 pm for the Cocktail Hour, seated at 7:00 pm and the Dinner at 7:10 pm

What should I do with my time in between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Feel free to utilize this time however you may choice but if you would like suggestions on activities to pass your time please reference the "Things To Do" page. Also keep in mind we will be serving dinner between 7:10 & 7:40 as this will contribute to the day being extra long and people getting hungry. The bridal party will be taking photos directly after the ceremony but feel free to join afterwards as we partake in a Bar "Krull" that will go from Excelsior to St. Paul. Bar stops TBD

Will there be any transportation on the day of the wedding to and from the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Please keep in mind there will be no provided transportation to and from the church for the ceremony. Will there be transportation from the MSP airport to the hotel?

Answer

The hotel has kindly provides services for transportation from the MSP Airport to the DoubleTree Bloomington hotel. If you have any questions please work directly with the hotel.

Answer

We are registered. Our website that you are currently on has a tab "Registry" that has our entire registry that is easily accessible to you all. This allows us to have items from Target, Amazon, Crate & Barrel, William Sonoma and more all on one page!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Although Grant and I both enjoy the fun and laughter a child brings to any event, we ask that you refrain from bringing your children to our wedding. Take this time to kick back, relax and celebrate with us. We appreciate your understanding on us choosing to have an adult-only event and making the arrangements to leave your kids at home.

Can I bring a guest or a plus one?

Answer

Although we would love to offer a plus one to all the guests, we have a guest list that is restricted by our venue. Unless stated on your invitation or seen in the RSVP section, please refrain from bringing any additional guests. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you.
