Stop at the Vista house on this trip as well! Another great view! [A great hike, not too challenging but a little long, very worth it!] A cute gift shop and restaruant as well. EDIT: the hike may or may not be available during the time of the wedding as there were many forest fires in this region at the end of the summer, but the falls are still able to be viewed and there are multiple hikes on the same road as Multnomah.
Best seen on a clear day if you'd just like to see the view (free). Touring the mansion is $10 a person and very cool!
A perfect stop on the way to or from Multnomah Falls - free to go in and get an amazing view of the Colombia River Gorge.
If you want good ice cream look no further! Make sure you sample at least one of the absurd flavors! ;) Park and explore all the shops on 23rd avenue; There are hat stores, popcorn stores, boutiques, and more! Escape from New York is Grant and my favorite Pizza place which is just down the road. Paper Source is nearby as well which is very cute and crafty!
This is Grant's favorite Portland Sandwich shop!
A fun $5 trip to get a view of the city in the air! There are some food carts at the base of the tram as well if you get hungry :)
Tara's favorite food truck stop - there are multiple food trucks including Voodoo doughnuts, a gyro truck, Mexican truck, mac and cheese truck, and more!
A beautiful park by one of the prettiest bridges in Portland!
Near Cathedral Park, there are many trails to explore out here on a nice drive!
Great science museum, especially if you have kids of any age! Even without kids it is fun. They have a sort of ampitheater that they do shows that are very cool! It is also a nice place to walk up to the bridge and get a view of the Colombia River!
Great to bring your kids to!
Great Sandwich shop-Tara's favorite Philly Cheesesteaks!
Best place to get yourself some Oregon/Portland Souveniers! Very popular clothing
Less than a 2 hour drive to the beach! This is a great beach town with some hikes (Ecola State Park) and cute little shops! (food reccomendations are pig 'n pancake or Osburns' Ice Cream, and the Crepe shop)
Visit the World's largest bookstore!
A farther drive; another beach which great space for explorations! A fun drive down - if you go through the Tillamook forest there are many side trails and exploring spots to visit!
Cool museum and ice cream/cheese tasting area! Tillamook Ice Cream is a MUST (you can buy it at the grocery stores but it is great to visit the factory itself)
The Market should have started by the Saturday after the wedding. A great way to see some of downtown and be by the river (there is a Voodoo Doughnuts here as well). Bring cash.
Some of Portland's Best Doughnuts (try the Big 3 and you decide for yourself!). They specialize in minii doughnuts and homemade chai!
Portland's original crazy doughnut shop!
One of the Big 3 doughnut shops! This store is near Salt & Straw and on 23rd Avenue which is a necessity to visit!
This is dinner with a view! This is a good place if you want to go on a fancy date night (it is EXPENSIVE), but the view is amazing!
Little People Big World fans! This is their farm. I'm not sure what their March hours are or if they're open but you may want to drive by and visit anyways! Helvetia Tavern is right down the street and they have great burgers and fries! A cool ceiling on this place too!
a small hike and view in the middle of portland! Can do in about an hour.
Great Viatnamese food in HIllsboro near Pastor and Shelley's house and the church.
Where Tara worked over the summer - build your own individual pizzas with Gluten free and diary free options!
