We're Married!

Hello friends and family! We are so excited to hear from you and involve you in our day. As it gets closer and closer, this is where you can find any information you will need to know! Much time was spent putting that together for your benefit, so take a look at where you may want to visit! If you are on the Eastern side of the continent, there is a reception in Michigan on July 21st, which we would also LOVE to see you at! More info to come... Again, if you are unable to attend, the ceremony WILL be on Facebook Live, just like the engagement was. :) This is for all of you who live far away or who live close but can't take time off to join us, or even for those who attend and want to reminisce about the time (that would be us). We met: Invasion Youth Conference in Midland, Michigan 2013. [That is the first time we actually remember-we were actually in the nursery together at Living Word Church in March 1996 at 3 months old!] We started talking: July 10, 2015 via Instagram messages.... phone numbers were exchanged by the end of the night and we started Facetiming to play Xbox together and then Facetimed just about every day since. "Officially" Dating: October 1st Grant finally decided to ask Tara to be his girlfriend First Oregon visit: November 2015 Grant visited Tara in Oregon and met the parents! (Grant met all 3 of Tara's siblings through Living Word/Invasion) First Michigan visit: Tara finally made it to Michigan (for something other than Invasion) and officially met Grant's parents and entire family! Engagement: May 09, 2017 in Boyne City, Michigan with Grant's family present. We are thankful for the technology of today because without it we never would have reconnected. 2000+ miles have been in between us, and technically we have only been together in person for about 4 months while dating. We are both blessed with supportive and loving families who invited strangers into their homes! Grant is moving to Oregon in January to live in the house we will live in when we get married 2 months later. We are so excited and a little impatient for those days to come!
