Grant and Mary's love story began at a bar named Crystal in Ohio University back in 2015, thanks to their wonderful friends Mimi and Drew who introduced them to each other. Mary was a sophomore, and Grant was a freshman at the time. They spent their weeks and weekends exploring the campus and making the most out of their college years. Looking back, they both feel incredibly grateful for their loving and supportive friends and family who have consistently enriched their lives. If you happen to see Mimi and Drew at the wedding, give them a big hug and thank them for bringing these two lovebirds together. One of the things that initially brought Mary and Grant together was their shared interests. They both love snowboarding and have visited Colorado for many snowboarding trips. They share a passion for traveling and hope to continue to travel and experience the world together. After making unforgettable memories during their college years in Athens, OH, they moved to Grant's hometown of Chicago, IL in 2017. They settled in Wrigleyville with their perfect black boxer named Theo. In March of 2022, they took a leap of faith and bought their house sight unseen in St. Pete, FL. After moving to St. Pete, FL in March of 2022, Mary and Grant quickly fell in love with the city and all it has to offer. Their weekends are now filled with exploring, trying new restaurants, and discovering hidden gems. They've also found a deep love for the beach, spending many lazy afternoons sitting in the sun and enjoying the sound of the waves. In addition to their beach adventures, Mary and Grant have taken up gardening together, nurturing their plants and watching them grow. St. Pete has become a special place for them, and they cannot wait to continue exploring and making more memories together in their new home. Their love story reached a new height in September of 2022 when Grant proposed to Mary in Florence, Italy. Now, as they prepare to exchange their vows in Miami in February 2024, they cannot wait to see what the future holds for them as Mr. and Mrs. Viola.
