For those not wishing to drive the entirety of Route 6, there are ferries from Boston to P-Town. Bay State Cruise Company's ferry departs from Boston's World Trade Center, accessible via the MBTA Silver Line.

City Cruises by Hornblower's ferry departs from Boston's Long Wharf, near the New England Aquarium, accessible via the MBTA Blue Line.
Train
Multiple Amtrak routes travel to Boston's South Station. From there, you can rent a car or take the T or a cab to either ferry dock.
Flight
For those traveling from afar, you can fly to Boston's Logan Airport and easily take the T or a cab to either ferry dock.

Jet Blue and Cape Air both run multiple daily flights from Logan (BOS) to Provincetown (PVC).
Rental Car
For those renting a car or driving their own, the only way to get to Provincetown is US Route 6 East. If driving, prepare for the infamous Cape traffic! Also be forewarned, parking in town is extremely limited.
