Gilpin Lake is one of Kelsey and Alex's favorite hikes in Colorado! Roughly 1 hour north of Steamboat Springs, this challenging hike will take about 5 hours over 9 miles and 2,000 ft of elevation gain. The blue lake, aspen groves, and mountain views are worth it!
For any adrenaline rush seekers, there are plenty of beginner mountain biking trials on Steamboat mountain! Rentals include a bike, full-face helmet, knee/shin pads, and gloves.
