ELLIE was home from college and looking for a summer job. She headed up north from Milwaukee to her parent's cottage on the lake and applied to a few of the bars nearby. The Gooseblind called her right away. JOE had worked at the Gooseblind Bar & Grill since he was 15. In May, before the summer's busy season, the owner called an all-hands meeting for the restaurant staff to learn about and sample the new menu items. ELLIE spotted Joe across the restaurant's dining room and thought he was really cute, but at the mature age of 19 she shrugged it off thinking it'd be silly to date someone still in high school.
