Shuttle
October 29, 2022 3:15 pm - 1:30 am
Complimentary roundtrip shuttle service will be provided between the main hotel (Four Points Sheraton San Rafael), the wedding venue (Deer Park Villa) and the afterparty bar (Mac's). Uber/Lyft can be hit or miss in Fairfax in the later evening, so if you're planning to Uber we would recommend taking the shuttle back to the Four Points where Ubers are easier to catch, and ordering from there instead. Here's the shuttle schedule: - 3:15pm: Shuttles begin boarding at hotel. - 3:30pm: Shuttles depart for wedding venue. - 9:15pm: Shuttle departs from wedding venue to hotel. - 10:30pm: Shuttle departs from wedding venue to afterparty bar (Mac's), then returns to wedding venue (very short trip). This shuttle trip does not go to the hotel. - 11:00pm: Last shuttle from wedding venue departs, stops at afterparty, and continues to hotel. - 12:30pm: Shuttle departs from afterparty to hotel. - 1:30pm: Last shuttle departs from afterparty to hotel.
Hotel
This is the main hotel where most of our guests are staying, so we would recommend booking a room here. We reserved a block of rooms which is unfortunately now full, but rooms may still be available to book at the standard rates. There will be roundtrip shuttles from this hotel to and from the wedding venue and afterparty for our guests to use.
Flight
The Bay Area has several airports but the closest two are San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK). They are each about 35 miles away from the Fairfax/San Rafael area and can be reached via Uber/Lyft, which will typically cost about $60-$80 each way (occasionally more, depending on surge pricing). There are also plenty of rental car companies at both airports.
Hotel
This hotel is right across Highway 101 from the Four Points, so it's a good backup option if the Four Points is fully booked.
Hotel
This is the closest hotel to our wedding venue. It's right in downtown Fairfax and is a 10 minute walk from the venue. It has a very dated motel vibe though, so may not be ideal for many folks!
