Our wedding is indoors in September. Dressy casual is perfect! Ladies, we love long, summer dresses in soft fabrics and dahlia-inspired tones—muted pinks, oranges, and creams. Gentlemen, please skip the polos and opt for a button-down with slacks; a sports coat is encouraged. Dress up a little and celebrate with us in style!

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! The ceremony begins at 10:30 AM, followed by a brunch reception at the same venue. Everything is indoors, so no need to worry about the weather. Our celebration takes place at Churchill’s, a beautifully restored space that was once Churchill Weavers—a handweaving company from 1922 to 2007 known for bringing Appalachian craftsmanship to a national audience. Now thoughtfully reimagined by Kara’s great aunt and uncle, it’s become a warm and welcoming event space, cafe, restaurant, and home to the largest bourbon collection around. To help keep the atmosphere relaxed and intimate, we kindly ask that the celebration be reserved for adults only. We hope you can join us for a joyful and carefree morning together!
