Stephanie Slouffman

Maid of Honor

Stephanie and I became friends our sophomore year of high school in homeroom. We played on the same rec basketball team for years (go Icy Hot!) and she would always encourage my jester personality on the court since I was never any good. We made freaky fast sandwiches together at Jimmy Johns and we'd always sneakily eat the leftover bread smothered with mayonnaise, cucumber and oregano. And now she's going to be a doctor, and I'm so proud! She's my go-to rollerblading buddy and although college and life after has us in different states, every time we reunite it's as if we were never apart.

Sena Tamaklo

Bridesmaid

Sena Tamaklo convinced me to stay at Clemson University. Although she never knew it, I felt lost during my freshman year in many ways and had been talking to my parents about transferring schools. Ending spring semester, I had signed up to study abroad in China for the summer and that is where Sena and I first met. During my Sophomore year, I don't think a single weekend went by where I wasn't over in Aspen with her. This girl is a ball of fire and always knows just what to say to make me laugh even when we were just sitting on the concrete floor in our living room. We ended up studying abroad twice in China and together we made some of my favorite memories in life so far. and.... if it weren't for her I also never would have gone to TomorrowWorld and met Chris my senior year at Clemson!

Susannah Haisley

Bridesmaid

Oh, Sus. The memories we've made since just our Junior year of college! From hunting bears to birding through Atlanta at 4AM, I know when we hang out we'll always find an unexpected adventure. She's an emotionally aware, intelligent, inspiring person and she certainly makes me aspire to better myself (and my shoe/bag/clothes collection) every time we're together. We met as waitresses at Beef O' Brady's and have been asked if we're twins at the bars ever since. I know, regardless of distance, we'll always be the wild ones sipping on vodka tonics and bourbon and cokes.

Davis Smith

Bridesmaid

Davis became my freshman roommate by chance, and thank goodness she did! Davis has a never ending energy and enough good will to save the world. She's has the most caring heart and got me through some rough times my freshman year. Oh, don't let this fool you though, she's convinced me into some crazy plans. Like running a 10K, or convincing an old friend in LA that he was set up on a blind date with me by his sister (only for Davis to jump out and yell "Surprise"). We even joined a prank war against some guys down the hall. She's been my surfing, long boarding, hiking long time friend. And although she's still in Virginia Beach, distance makes the heart grow fonder.

Spencer Graham

Best Man

My best friend since diapers. Navigating adolescence is a lot easier when your cousin has your back. When you mess with one Graham, you mess with them all. However, most of our time together has probably been spent laughing. A five minute phone call with Spencer will usually turn into two hours of us laughing at the most absurd things. Spencer gives off the kindest aura that causes strangers to gravitate toward him. I’m lucky to have him in my life and I’m proud to have him as my best man. Love you cuz.

Patrick McClelland

Groomsman

Dearest Patty. My King Street companion. My sports guru. Although we’ve only been friends since college, he’s always been the guy who has picked me up when I’m down. I'm so glad that we decided to room together our sophomore and junior years. Although I may not have been his favorite date to his fraternity events, I’m thankful that he brought me along. My favorite was always our weekly date nights at TDs and our Saturdays wandering the peninsula of Charleston. Fortunately, fate has brought us back together in Atlanta and we can keep creating memories together.

Will Ballentine

Groomsman

Will moved to Summerville our freshman year of high school and we became best friends instantly. This lovable oaf was my teammate in competition and in life. We’ve never faced a drinking challenge where we haven’t won. You’ll never meet a more competitive player than Will. He’s got a lot of heart and is a yes man who is willing to push the envelope. Over the years, he’s shown me to look at life with a positive and child-like energy. And even though he can be exhausting, at times, he’s still the guy I count on. If I need someone right away, I know to text Will. He’s my Mr. Reliable. We’ve had our ups and we’ve had our downs, but through it all, I’ve learned what it’s like to have a brother.

David Goodman

Groomsman

I’ve known David since senior year of high school and I wish I would have met him sooner. His unbending overconfidence never ceases to amaze me. It’s hard not to respect a guy who can handle being the butt of the joke without being upset. He’s our talkative friend who would rather call than txt because he has so much to say. He’s taught me to golf, fish, and forgive. David and I have had our differences but those have just made our friendship stronger. I’m honored to have him as my groomsman. Also, for those of you who know David, he definitely cried reading this.
