With the continuing covid-19 pandemic, we have decided to cancel our wedding until further notice.

For our first encounter, Chris saw me from afar: walking Lulu across the street from his house in Aspen Heights. Our friends were all friends. Sena, my best friend in college, and Zach, Chris's good friend from childhood, and I all studied abroad together the summer before. I was good friends with Chris's housemates: Zach, Will and Dave, but had never met Chris because he was with his other friend Patrick a lot that year. Chris ended up graduating early in Dec. 2014 and moved to Charleston for an internship before he started grad school at Clemson that Fall of 2015. At the time, I was still at Clemson studying away when Sena and I bought tickets to go to our first music festival: TomorrowWorld. The festival was coming up in September, 2015 and we knew we'd need some male friends to camp with us over the weekend. We reached out to Will who was still living across the street and had been to the festival before. Will then invited Chris to go along as well. After TomorrowWorld Will, Chris, and I became even better friends and started hanging out a lot in Clemson. To my luck Chris, who had just started grad school in Greenville, would come back to Clemson almost every weekend to stay with Will and go to the football games. Chris and I had become great friends at TomorrowWorld and seeing him every weekend after only strengthened our friendship. He was always the jokester making everyone laugh and would immediately light up the group whenever he arrived at the bar. Of course I initiated our first date and I suggested we go bowling on campus. The night very quickly turned into a date: he let me win at bowling and we ate at a Mediterranean restaurant where they thought they should add a thousand pickles to our gyros.
