Hotels & Travel

The Wedding Website of Molly Sweeney and Graham Childs
We recommend booking your accommodations early as we have a limited number of rooms for our hotel block at Buffalo Mountain Lodge and prices may go up at the other hotels closer to the date. If you are booking flights, we recommend setting a flight alert for low prices flying into Calgary, as booking early will not guarantee lower prices, and the prices will fluctuate over the coming months. An alert will help you score the lowest prices! If you are planning on exploring Banff and the surrounding area during your visit, we would encourage hiring a car, but if that is not in the cards, then we have listed a few options below. Unfortunately, getting married in a national park means park passes. We will link information on this below. LINKS:

Travel Note

Banff Park Pass

To enter Banff National Park, cars must stop at a gate and purchase a day pass for the number of days you’ll be in the park. This pass should be displayed on your vehicle for the duration of your stay—if you don’t have one, you will receive a ticket. If you’re entering the park via shuttle, the buses don’t stop at the park pass gates. Their website notes: “It is your responsibility to purchase a pass once in the Park.” We’re not saying that means you can skip the fee… but we’re also not not saying that...
