This will come as no surprise and many of you would envisage this as the stereotypical, ‘Irish guy meets an American girl’ story. Graham had won a ticket to board a ship through a shifty poker game. It was a lower-class ticket, but it was a ticket to a new life, a new beginning… an American beginning. Upon his first night he wandered aimlessly to the upper-class deck, where he saw, a beautiful woman flirt with the back railings of the ship… that woman was Michelle. After saving her from an icy fall, her family generously offered Graham to join them for dinner that night in the upper-class. One gala, an Irish dancing night, an unfortunate sunken ship, driftwood definitely able to fit two people, a huge diamond and…. Wait… I might be getting mixed up with the movie ‘Titanic’. Actually, now that I think of it.... we met in a bar called the Dorian on July 1st 2017! Two separate groups with common friends ended up crossing paths. There was an instant attraction and with a little "whackamole" practice, Graham was able to fend off some hard competition to steal Michelle’s company. After a few dates shortly thereafter, we realized this was something special. Our love for travel, adventure, and generally just making each other laugh, accelerated from a friendship into a loving partnership. Nov 2018 marked when we decided to ‘cohabitate’ ( aka move in together). This was the first litmus test for our future together. Going from two independent lifestyles, to co-workers, co-gym goers, co-chefs, co-bathroom users, co-arguers over home decor….You get picture! This milestone soon paved its way into us planning our future together without any doubt. After a wee bit of pressure from Michelle, Graham got down onto his old man knee and proposed at the Sanctuary resort in Scottsdale on Oct. 11th 2020. After Michelle's screams died off and security believed Grahams story, Michelle said YES!!! We could not be more excited to start our next chapter together & celebrate with YOU !
