To make your trip as smooth as possible, we’ve outlined transportation options recommended by our venue. We encourage you to plan ahead—and we truly appreciate your understanding. What is Black Tie Optional?
Answer
For men: if you have a tuxedo, this is its time to shine! If not, no worries - a dark suit and white shirt will look fab. For ladies: a floor-length gown is preferred if you have one, but a tea- or midi-length dress is just as welcome!

We politely request leaving the little ones at home. We're keeping this celebration adults-only. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

What is the attire for the Welcome Drinks?
Answer
For men: dress shirt and a sport coat or blazer with dress pants. No tie required. For women: cocktail dress or a dressy top paired with dress pants.

Will any events be outdoors?
Answer
Yes. Weather permitting, the ceremony will by outdoors and on grass. We also anticipate a steady breeze in such close proximity to the Bay.

Do you have recommendations for where to get dinner Friday?
Answer
Near the Welcome Event: - Libbey's Coastal Kitchen and Cocktails (where the Welcome Event takes place). The restaurant takes reservations and offers spectacular views of the Chesapeake Bay. Plus it makes for an easy commute to the Welcome Event which will take place in their private venue space downstairs. - Knoxie's Table at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club Inn. It's a 10-12 minute walk or 2 min drive from Libbey's. Near the hotels: - Bridges Restaurant - the Jetty (good takeout option)
