Yes, we will have shuttles taking our guests to and from your accommodations to all events on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Please look at the "Schedule" tab to see pickup locations and times. Please do not drive as there will be no parking available. However, if you choose to come for the swim or brunch on Sunday, please drive and park at Freedom Hall.
The dress code is black-tie optional. The temperature can dip at night so we recommend ladies bring a jacket/shawl to stay warm later in the evening, particularly for those planning to stay for the bonfire.
Both the Welcome Party and Wedding will be held on grass lawns so we don't recommend stilettos or shoes you're worried about scuffing. The wedding cocktail hour will be held on the beach, so you may want to consider removing your shoes for this part of the evening.
June in Cotuit typically sees highs of ~78 degrees F / lows of ~64 degrees F with high humidity. Rain is not uncommon. Please check the forecast before traveling and plan accordingly.
While your little ones are welcome to come for the Thursday night bonfire and breakfast on Sunday, our Friday and Saturday events are adults-only. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us. We recommend Summer Sitters (https://www.summersitters.com) or Care for Kids, Inc (https://careforkidsinc.com/our-locations/) as local agencies on the Cape. If you are interested in a group nanny, please reach out to us and we can help coordinate with other interested parents.
We ask that you keep your phones away during the ceremony to stay fully present and grounded in the moment. Feel free to snap pics once we move on to the cocktail hour and throughout the rest of the night!
Why, yes we do! #socrazyinlloyd
As our wedding weekend approaches, we'd like to share some suggestions for how we can help keep each other healthy during the festivities. When we postponed our ceremony from last year to this year, we had hoped that COVID-19 would be behind us by now, but unfortunately we still need to be careful in '22. We are expecting around 175 guests, so we will be a large group but all the events will be held outdoors. We expect that all or very nearly all of you will be vaccinated and boosted, but breakthrough cases do occur so we strongly encourage everyone to self-test before attending wedding events, even if you are not experiencing any symptoms. We will have a small supply of rapid tests on hand, but we cannot provide tests for everyone so please plan accordingly to BYOT. We appreciate that many of you are traveling long distances to attend and encourage those of you arriving by air, train or bus to wear a mask during your journey as an additional precaution. We offer these suggestions with the confidence that we all want the same thing: the peace of mind that will enable us to relax and enjoy being together to celebrate this joyful occasion.
