Rebecca Graese

Bride

Alex Harmann

Groom

Jordan Scott

Maid of Honor

From the start of our friendship in 2020, life with Rebecca and Alex has been nothing but giggles, adventures, and memorable double dates. After being introduced to Rebecca through my SO, Jon, we hit it off with hilarious episodes of Schitts Creek and peaceful paint by numbers in the cool afternoons of October that transitioned to the warm summer nights spent at the drive in. Throughout time together we have continued to develop a beautiful friendship. I met Alex the following school year thus beginning the start of our quintessential quad. To know Rebecca and Alex is an honor and to be lucky enough to be in the presence of real, honest, and rare love is a true gift.

Jon Rice

Best Man

I first met Rebecca at freshman year orientation in 2019, and quickly hit it off. A few months later, she wouldn’t stop telling me about this “Alex” guy that she met. At first I didn’t realize the big deal, but Rebecca’s love for him was undeniable. Our friendship grew and he quickly became like a brother. Rebecca and I helped each other maintain sanity while living with two other roommates, while Alex and I cause some of Rebecca’s insanity. After plenty game nights, dinners out, and a few ski trips, I couldn’t be more happy to call Alex and Rebecca family.

Abby Graese

Sister of the Bride

As the older sister of the Bride, Abby only loses the unspoken “who’s known Rebecca longest” competition amongst the bridal party to Brandon, her twin.   While Abby and Rebecca loved and fought— as all siblings do—during their childhood, Abby is grateful for the new traditions they get to have as adults, like baking cookies and drinking cocktails while Alex wins all the Mario Kart medals on Abby’s Switch at Christmas (Abby’s friends say this is cheating, but they are wrong, it’s just using your resources). During the wedding, you can expect to find her on the dance floor until her people hours have run out.

Cooper Butler

Groomsman

To Whom It May Concern (That’s you reading this on the website): My name is Cooper, Alex is my best friend and Rebecca is my second best friend. Twas the fall college semester of 2019 that would become the first few months of two friendships that would last me a lifetime. We laughed, we watched a lot of Star Wars (a lot dear viewer), and our friendships grew from the ashes of the pre-COVID college experience. Legal note: Cooper only speaks for himself and can not verify the accuracy of the second sentence for related parties.

Brandon Graese

Brother of the Bride

As the twin brother of the bride, it’s safe to say that Brandon and Rebecca go waaaaay back. Alex, on the other hand, was sent to let Brandon into a dorm our freshman year. Over the last few years, Alex and Rebecca have fully welcomed and brought Brandon into their circle. Game nights and FaceTime calls with the pure intent of sharing what our cats are doing are the most common, but some of the most loved moments. During the wedding, you’ll probably find Brandon roaming around and talking to as many people as possible to avoid the dance floor but you may get lucky and see him there anyways. Congratulations Rebecca and Alex!

Alyssa Harmann

Sister of the Groom

As sister to the groom, Alyssa has known Alex all his life. Whether that was keeping an eye out for him at school or spending quality time together at home, they’d be friends if they weren’t already brothers. She always thought she would be standing up with him on his wedding day, but once Rebecca entered his life and she and Alyssa became fast friends, Alyssa declared “you guys figure it out, I can’t choose.” She’s very excited for Rebecca to officially become a part of her family! Alex likes to say that Alyssa “helped him become a real person.” Alex and Rebecca are lovingly known as her favorite brothers. They’ve been able to enjoy shows, movies, books, games, and family gatherings together. She trusts them with her books (which is saying a lot). Each time they get together, the air is filled with love and joy as they bring each other to tears with laughter. Alyssa is so grateful to be able to call them a part of her family. She loves them both so incredibly much and is so excited for them to start this new chapter of their lives together!

Kasey Erffmeyer

Bridesmaid

Hi, my name is Kasey and love salty food, rollercoasters, and the color orange! I had the joy of meeting Rebecca and Alex in college! I met Rebecca (I call her Rebeccy) in class, where we quickly bonded over an intense school project. We became friends very fast - I loved how Rebecca was so joyful, such a good leader, and how she saw the best in people! When Rebeccy introduced me to Alex, it was so clear how compatible they were. Rebecca and Alex love each other and other people so well, they truly make the world a brighter and more wonderful place! If you've ever had the privilege of eating a home cooked meal made by A & R, you know how incredibly lucky you are. I feel so blessed to have them both in my life and I am SO excited to celebrate and support their marriage! p.s. August 1st isn't ready for the dance party that is about to unfold!!!

Catrina Harmann

Sister of the Groom

Hi, my name is Catrina and I’m Alex’s oldest sister. I love movies, sports, and the color purple. Throughout my life, I’ve experienced how loving and kind Alex is, while having an incredibly silly side too. Ever since the first time I met Rebecca, it was immediately apparent to me that they have all of these things in common. I love how much they make each other laugh and their positive energy is contagious! I’m so happy for Alex and Rebecca and so thankful that my little brother has found someone who is such a perfect match for him. I’m so excited for their future together!

Johanna Mathew

Bridesmaid

Rebecca and I got connected first through a group project in junior year of college. Our friendship bloomed through countless coffeeshop dates, bonding over music, laughing with each other, and most of all, shared trauma from the IAD program. Rebeccy is known for her joy, love, and empathy. I'm so grateful to call her friend! I got to know Alex when he'd bring food and support to Rebecca during late nights at the lab, but especially when he got destroyed by Kasey while playing his favorite card game and then refused to play for months after. Jokes aside, your love for each other is so sweet and beautiful, and I can't wait to stand by your side on the best day ever!!
