For guests interested in a luxury hotel experience, we recommend The Virginian Hotel. This is where Kevin and I will be staying the night of our wedding. The hotel is approximately 30 minutes from the wedding venue and offers a refined, historic stay in the heart of Downtown Lynchburg.

Lynchburg Grand Hotel

For guests looking for a more budget‑friendly option, we recommend the Lynchburg Grand Hotel. While this hotel is not part of our wedding room block at this time, it is a great choice for those who would still like to stay in Downtown Lynchburg. The hotel is approximately 30 minutes from the wedding venue.

Lynchburg Regional Airport

A convenient local option with expanded service beginning spring 2026. United Express flights, operated by SkyWest Airlines, will offer daily service to Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Washington, D.C. Dulles International Airport starting March 24, 2026. The airport also offers flights connecting through Charlotte (CLT) on American and United. For our guests traveling from down south or our Chicago guests, this is the airport we recommend!

Roanoke-Blacksburg Airport

This airport offers the most flight options and is convenient for our Chicago guests, with direct flights from O’Hare (ORD) on American and United. ROA is about an hour from downtown Lynchburg and roughly 1.5 hours from our venue, so a rental car will be needed. For those traveling from farther away and comfortable with using rental cars, this is the airport we recommend!

Amtrak

For guests traveling from the Northeast, we highly recommend taking Amtrak! There’s a stop right in downtown Lynchburg. We’re big fans—Amtrak was our go-to for visits between New York City, Ashland, and DC during our long-distance days.

While Uber and Lyft are available in downtown Lynchburg, we recommend scheduling rides in advance due to the rural location of our venue to ensure a smooth and timely departure from our celebration.
