We would love to have all RSVPs turned in by September 21, 2026. We will allow a grace period of two weeks. RSVPs should be submitted no later than October 5, 2026! You can RSVP by scanning the QR code found on your formal invitation RSVP card. You can also RSVP on the tab at the top of our website page. If we do not receive your RSVP by 10/05/2026, we will assume you are unable to attend and not include you in our final count. This is for our catering, venue, and vendor purposes.
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors. Our wedding reception is indoors. It will be in November, so please watch the weather accordingly. We are hoping for a warm/crisp fall day, but Tennessee weather is unpredictable come that time of year.
We are so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest friends and family. As we are keeping it as an intimate gathering, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be included in our day. You can see this by scanning your QR code or looking at your personal RSVP. If you are given a plus one, they will be noted on your invitation and included when you RSVP back. We hope everyone understands as our venue only accommodates a certain amount, and this is reserved for the people we love most! :)
The same thing goes for children as plus ones. When you see your RSVP, your children's names will be listed along with you if they are allowed to attend. We believe all close family and friends children should be included in our day, and that's it.
Please take a look at our travel and lodging tab. This includes recommended hotels, lodges, and cabin rentals. All of these stays have been recommended by our coordinator, and they are within a 20-30 minute drive from our venue. Anything close to Alcoa, Maryville, and Sevierville are close to our venue. We recommend NOT staying in Knoxville that weekend as it is a big home football game. For our two hotel recommendations, we have group rates and room blocks :) Use the title: Uphoff Wedding when booking for cheaper rates!
We truly would love for all guest to capture and share their special moments of our wedding day with us! But, we kindly ask NO PHOTOGRAPHY DURING THE CEREMONY. We have hired amazing photographers and videographers to capture all of these special moments! We ask that our ceremony is unplugged, and you allow the professionals to do all of their beautiful work. We will also have a digital camera app for all guest to scan at the reception that allows you to take photos and upload them straight to our special code/app.
We will be having a cocktail hour and bar up during our reception. We will provide a certain amount of alcohol through our bar vendor service, and when it is out it is out. We would appreciate any tips given to our amazing bar service and bartenders. We ask that no one show up highly intoxicated or under the influence. Per venue regulations and contracts, there will be security/officers on site that will be watching all areas of the venue. If they notice certain behaviors not allowed, the venue is allowed to remove anyone off of their premises. We just wanted everyone to be aware before our event!
